This project presents a proposed 3D concept for a Swahili-inspired beach house designed to capture the relaxed atmosphere and cultural richness of the East African coast. The client’s brief was to create a tranquil coastal retreat that reflects traditional Swahili architectural character while incorporating modern comforts and open living spaces suited for a beachfront setting. The design needed to emphasize natural ventilation, connection to the surrounding landscape, and a sense of calm that complements the coastal environment.
The final rendered proposal illustrates a serene beach house that balances tradition with contemporary coastal living. The design celebrates the timeless qualities of Swahili architecture while adapting them to modern lifestyle needs. The outcome is a welcoming retreat that feels deeply connected to its coastal setting, offering a space that is both culturally expressive and perfectly suited for relaxed beachfront living.
